Vaikuttava aine
bisoprololi
Käyttötarkoitus
Lääkettä käytetään kohonneen verenpaineen ja rasitusrintakivun hoitoon.
Annostus
Lääkärin ohjeen mukaan, yleensä 1-2 tablettia päivässä. Lääkitystä ei saisi lopettaa äkillisesti, koska tämä voi pahentaa sairauden oireita.
Lääkkeen ottaminen
Tabletti niellään kokonaisena nesteen kera joko aamiaisen yhteydessä tai sellaisenaan. Tablettia ei saa pureskella.
Vaikutustapa
Lääke hillitsee adrenaliinin ja sen sukulaisaineiden verenpainetta kohottavia ja sydämen sykettä kiihdyttäviä vaikutuksia sydämeen. Lääkkeen vaikutuksesta sydämen lyöntitiheys hidastuu ja sen työmäärä vähenee. Tällöin verenpaine alenee.
Haittavaikutukset
Lääkkeen yleisimmät haittavaikutukset ovat huimaus, päänsärky, pahoinvointi, oksentelu, ummetus, uupumus sekä raajojen kylmyys tai tunnottomuus.
Raskaus ja imetys
Ei suositella käytettäväksi raskauden aikana eikä imetyksen yhteydessä.
Säilytys
Säilytä huoneenlämmössä (alle 25 °C).

5 mg tabl: Sydämenmuotoinen, kellertävän valkoinen, jakouurteinen, kalvopäällysteinen tabletti.
10 mg tabl: Sydämenmuotoinen, heikosti oranssi - vaaleanoranssi, jakouurteinen, kalvopäällysteinen tabletti.
